Paul Walker's Cool Evo and Other Famous Movie Cars Are Up for Auction!

This month, Bonhams is putting on an exciting online auction featuring 50 unique cars from movies and TV shows, along with 19 intriguing pieces of memorabilia—none of which have a set price, meaning they'll go to the highest bidder! The collection comes from the Movie Cars Central Museum, located near Paris, and is run by Franck Galiègue, so these items are definitely the real deal.

The auction includes vehicles from iconic films spanning several decades. Picture cars from favorites like “Fast & Furious,” “Jurassic Park,” “Ghostbusters,” and “Back to the Future.” You'll even find crafty recreations of cars from shows like “The A-Team” and films featuring James Bond!

One of the stars of the auction is the original Peugeot 406 V6 from “Taxi 2,” a movie beloved in France. This car is expected to fetch between €70,000 to €120,000, which roughly translates to $75,000 to $130,000. The auction is meant for collectors and pop culture lovers around the world. According to Bonhams specialist Loïc Maschi, many of these vehicles are significant parts of both film and automotive history.

Franck Galiègue shared that this sale wraps up a personal journey of collecting cars over many years. He’s now ready for these legendary vehicles to find new owners. Notable cars from the auction include several from the “Fast & Furious” franchise, such as the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII from “2 Fast 2 Furious,” estimated at $290,000 to $578,000. There’s also the famous 1968 Dodge Charger, known as the General Lee from “The Dukes of Hazzard,” with an estimated value between $139,000 and $185,000.

Additional highlights feature unique rides like the Gene Winfield Police Cruiser from “Back to the Future II” estimated between $81,000 to $115,000, and even a motorcycle from “Jurassic Park.” The auction doesn’t just stop at cars; memorabilia includes incredible items like a life-size T-rex from “Jurassic Park” and the hoverboard from “Back to the Future II,” which could sell for about $1,700 to $2,500.

Everything will be available for public display by appointment later this month, making it a great opportunity for fans to see these pieces of cinematic history up close.
